- BABIES
We believe that you are never too young to hear about Jesus and his love for you. During the Sunday school hour we have a nursery for birth to age two. Through music, wiggle and giggle activities, pictures and nurturing staff little ones are introduced to the love of God.
- PRE-KINDERGARTEN GARDEN OF LEARNING
Children ages 3 to 4 love stories and activities with their caring teacher Miss Anita. The curriculum also includes a family take home paper so that parents can reinforce learning at home with fun activities there.
- KINDERGARTEN through FIRST GRADE ON NOAH'S ARK
Miss Thelma and Miss Nancy are loved by all the children in our church. They love to sing and praise God every Sunday. Be sure to bring some offering and a Bible. Children will hear a story and have a fun activity every Sunday.
- THE W.I.L.D WORKSHOP ZONE is for children in grades 2nd through 6th
Workshop Zone is a Bible-story driven curriculum that taps in to the way kids love to learn. Children in 2nd through 4th grade have a "shepherd" named Miss Staci and the 5th and 6th graders have Miss Laura as their "shepherd". The shepherd component focuses on the transformation of kids' lives as they explore spiritual formation exercises, discover their prayer voices, connect with a global mission partner and worship together in community. Then the children engage in fun, discover-based activities in a workshop that is designed to enrich each lesson and lead kids to synthesize and apply God's Word to their lives.
Each year of Worshop Zone is based on one over-arching theological theme which serves as the focus for the year's units. This theological lens provides a consistent and seamless launch pad to help kids connect with God's Word for life-change.
- SPI (SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL and INTELLECTUAL)SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - ADULT
This is an adult sunday school with no age restrictions. We use the printed "THE PRESENT WORD" which is a quarterly Bible study series. Teachers rotate on a quarterly basis. The teachers and class come together to reflect on the Biblical text and to act on what they discover there. The sessions feature the great celebrations of the Christian Church, which rehearse the life of Christ and bring to believers the significant events of that life. Learning activities are carefully tailored to the abilities and interests of the class members. The class attempt to have a social function 2 to 4 times a year. All who are interested in learning more about the Biblical foundation and nature of our Christian faith are invited and urged to atten and participate in this class.
- SEEKERS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - ADULT
The Seekers class, taught by Pat Redpath, is now doing a study on grace. The title is "Opening Ourselves to Grace: The Means of Grace and Discipleship" by Steven W. Manskar.
- DISCOVERY SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - ADULT
This class is very informal. We have open discussions based on group's selection of study materials. Study materials include videos, DVDs (Nooma Series), and books. We are currently doing a study using "The Andy Griffith Series.". This is paralleled with appropriate scriptures and we have in-depth discussion on the video segment.
- LOGOS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - ADULT
The LOGOS Sunday School class is an adult class taught by the Minister, Joe Wingfield, with an age range from 30-something to 60-something (but there is no age limit). The class is a Bible study class delving into different books of the Bible. At the present time we are studying the Book of Romans which will take us through the first of October 2008. We are meeting in the Sanctuary.
